Get to Know a Little About Our Story
at Mario’s Restaurant & Lounge
Our story begins in 1955, when Mario DiCarlo brought his pizza-making skills and keen business sense to Weirton. He enjoyed immediate success. By 1970, he was ready to try his hand in the restaurant business. For over 50 years, you could always count on seeing Mario sitting in the restaurant, enjoying an espresso. He also would tell one of his many stories of the old country.
Today, the restaurant and pizza shop business has been passed to the next generation. This generation includes his son, Dan DiCarlo, and his daughter, Vivian Pagley. We make it our mission to continue the tradition of Mario’s outstanding service, with an open invitation: Visit Mario’s Restaurant & Lounge for catering, to dine in, or carry out today!
